Sooo this is me!

This is the whole introductory post thing.  My name is teh Agent Dani, and as you can tell, I'm a secret agent.  Not a very good secret agent, but an otherwise decent human being.

I doodle like crazy even though I'm planning on trying and getting into medical school or doing SOMETHING with my BS Biology.  I'm going to try and put up story idears, sketches, all that good stuff up here, especially now that I have a tablet.  However, I'm also lazy and tend to forget things, so it's been kind of abandoned.

I dunno why I'm saying all this, I don't really watch people on this site (except for like... 2) and I don't advertise it.  It's almost like masturbating, me getting this thing.

I'm going to spazz up this page later.

I'm usually open to art trades and commissions, but I'm not really expecting any of either, plus I'm notoriously late with stuff if I'm not getting paid to do it.



(If anybody knows, I'm putting this to December 12, 2012, 4 minutes after midnight, because the Mayans predicted that on that day, the world will end.  And four minutes because you only got four minutes to save the world.)

Okay, so OBVIOUSLY I haven't posted in a while.  Not that anybody goes here, but just FYI, I have good reasons.

As I have (currently) in my 'current projects' section up above, I'm making a comic called Before the Kiss.  I'm actually going to be adapting a short story I wrote for my creative writing class a while ago (a class I dubbed my 'Poetry Class' because that's all we did for the first half, er, three quarters... Write poetry.

I'm fond of this story for several reasons.  One, I do think it's well-written.  Two, it combines fairy tales and my snarky sense of humor... And who isn't entertained by that?  I know I sure am.  Three, the teacher said that short stories shouldn't be fantasy because it's hard to pull off... AND I TOTALLY DID.  And I had to finish it before the deadline so the prof could make sure that I was on the right track, so it was written in less time than I normally would have been allowed.

Anywho, I decided to post it here just because it is part of my writingness for a project.  Enjoy!  Constructive crit is welcome.

Character profiles! These are the main characters, and only the ones I have so far. I might be adding a British Reaper in the future... He's really only British because that's a way I can change my voice, NOT to mimic the character Mason from Dead Like Me.

Hallo!  This is my new project. It might not come to anything, but I was actually hoping to maybe... someday... animate it. >.> A far away dream but something that might happen... maybe. Maybe maybe maybe. One episode would be a collection of short episodes (like, 2-3 minutes), and I wouldn't care about the overall length. But yeah.

The premise for the plot is based on both the TV Series 'Dead Like Me' and the book, 'On a Pale Horse' by Piers Anthony.

So the basic plot summary is this: There are many kinds of Death. Usually, people's bodies die and their souls escape. Sometimes, the souls are somehow stuck, and need to be collected for processing or to make sure they move on. And in very rare cases, the souls themselves die.

The main character (dubbed Tina) is just one of those people, whose souls have somehow died. When a soul dies, it doesn't stop moving, it just can't go anywhere. These souls are taken to Purgatory and made into Grim Reapers, who go around helping Death collect souls.( Read more... )
